J. Michael Drabiuk, (Co-Founder, President & CEO) Dr. Michael has over 30 years experience in Nutritional Manufacturing, Complementary Healthcare and R&D Innovation as President/CEO, Entrepreneur, Naturopathic practitioner, Certified Medical Nutritionist, Quantum Biofeedback Technician and Nutritional Researcher. Co-founder/President of PFT Brands Inc/Pure Fruit Technologies™ (2004 – Present), producers of fruit juice supplements, selling a major brand Mangoxan™ in the US and internationally.
In addition to an educational background including Diplomas in both Business Administration and Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Drabiuk has also dedicated 7 years to the Bradford Research Institute in the study of Oncology as it relates to oxidation and development of abnormal capillary blood coagulation. This health science background, coupled with an extensive business background in manufacturing, design, and international distribution of nutritional products, has provided the foundation for the research, development, and evolution of what is now known as Gentle Processing™.
A passion for environmentally friendly technologies, foods, nutritional supplements, and educating the team to be successful and share the same focus. Continued effort to help people live a higher quality of life is at the core and the driving force behind what has become Gentle Processing™.
Michael is certified in HASAP which has enabled him to provide the necessary input needed to assure food safety and advise his design and engineering team. Ongoing relationships with Ag-West Bio, U of S, NRC, Health Canada, Trade Commission, Pulse Sask, Saskatchewan Food Center, Saskatchewan Government, Saskatchewan Trade and Export, Sask Flax, and several commodity producers, processors and exporters.
Leonard J. Yungwirth (COO):
Leonard became involved with QMTI in early 2014. He brings with him over 40 years of commodity production & processing experience, as well as a connection to a very diverse group of Agriculture industry contacts. His practical, hands-on approach and professional trade experience has been instrumental in product development to date. With the extensive design, fabrication and equipment modification skills that he brings to the company, his technical expertise will continue to drive our R&D program going forward. He has been an integral part of the successful development and startup of QMTI’s manufacturing and distribution company Quantum Global Technologies Inc.
After Graduating from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India with a degree in Computer Science, Sunny began developing his rapport with companies like Verizon, BT Telecom, Rsystems, AT & T Inc, Adani Groups, LinXmart and DigiIQ. He has managerial experience in IT, Web/App development, Digital Marketing, Brand Building & Management and Communications. He has honed these skills by engaging over 10,000 companies worldwide as he operates a successful Digital Marketing Company- Swan Technologies Inc. His computer and IT skills include working with HTML, CSS, JQuery, PHP and JavaScript. Sunny is a leader and team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills. He has leveraged his experience in development of online marketing programs with new and innovative products to help drive the company’s growth.
Alan R. Ogden (Marketing Director)–Mr. Ogden is a graduate of the University of Alberta (U of A) obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He has been an Entrepreneur and Business Owner for 32 years, dedicating his life and career to the healthcare field. In addition, his extended education has included Geriatric Pharmacy achieved jointly between the U of A and the University of Denver. He is also a Certified Health & Wellness Trainer and frequently conducts seminars and public information sessions about his specific health knowledge and research. Beyond his training in nutritional supplements, Alan has continued his education in Radionics, Frequency Medicine, Body Energy systems and care, Orthotics and is presently a candidate for a Doctorate in Natural Medicine.
Jim has over 40 years of farming background in and around Brandon, Manitoba. He produces a wide variety of pulses with an aggressive interest in gaining worldwide acceptance for this “heart healthy” food. Jim brings experience and understanding of the producer-supplier relationships and has tremendous industry knowledge of large scale agricultural production and processes.
Mr Arun Monga is a Director at MongaGroup with its Flagship Company Monga Strayfield Pvt Ltd and its wholly owned subsidiary Strayfield Ltd at UK. Strayfield is a well-established global brand specializing in the design, manufacture and supply of industrial radio frequency equipment.
Arun is also a Director at San Corporate, a financial services company involved in facilitating VC funds/Debt Funds as well as other sources of fundraising for its clients.
Mr. Monga achieved his Bachelor of Engineering and graduated from the College of Engineering Pune, India. He has over 30 years of experience in R&D and design, manufacturing and development of radio frequency equipment, in the capacity of Business Director.
His specialization lies in radio frequency dryers for the fields of Textiles, Bakery, Fiberglass, and Paper manufacturing; and di-electric welders for the plastics industry. Over the years of working he has also been involved with design and manufacture of packaging equipment and has run a food company producing spices and ready to cook mixes. He has also been extensively involved in Sales and Marketing for the group companies.
Over the past 10 years Mr Arun Monga has been deeply involved in development of radio frequency equipment for food safety applications, more specifically in the post-harvest food safety applications of drying, disinfestation and disinfection. Some of his successful work includes Betel Nut processing, Asafoetida powder processing, Lentils, Semolina, Soya bean, Pet Food, Rice Bran in Oil Extraction and Spices.
Honorable Lorne Nystrom, (Business Relation’s) –Privy Councilor, Vice President-Government and Corporate Relations, and Director. Lorne was an elected member of the Canadian Parliament for more than 32 years, specializing in economic and constitutional issues. He was the youngest Member of Parliament in Canadian history when first elected in 1968 at age 22. In 1992 he was appointed to the Privy Council of Canada by the Queen.
Jason joined the team in late 2016. He brings with him over 20 years of electrical and mechanical experience. Jason’s vast experience spans a wide range of industries including renewable energy, green technology, and food processing; in live production, live kill, and packaging facilities. Jason has invaluable knowledge not only with industry expectations and requirements but with the mechanical and electrical aptitude that he brings, Jason is a solution architect for QMTI in the development and placement of Gentle Processing™ in the food industry and beyond.
Strategic interests include agri-food processing R & D. Electro-technology based applications (sensing, drying, extrusion, etc.) and utilization for agriculture, food, bioprocessing, and added-value sector. Partnership development, Entrepreneurship opportunities, R & D innovation, Strategic leadership, Community Engagement, and International development. Academic training and mobility, industrial research and professional development integrating trans-disciplinary boundaries (biorefinery model: connecting agriculture, agri-food process engineering, and business) are key areas of interest.
Suraj has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master’s degree in Financial Engineering and has completed all 3 levels of the CFA program. He brings 2 years of hands-on experience running a spice processing and packaging unit that applied Gentle Processing TM and is directly involved in developing new applications and technologies for the company. Apart from his direct experience in food processing, he has 2 years of experience as a business analyst for asset managers and prefers to apply an analytical method to problem-solving. He specializes in mathematical models and optimization techniques directly applied to machine design, mechanical system design and process flow optimization.
